Lauri Turner, MA, BCBA

Clinical Director, Behavior Analyst

Lauri is the co-founder and Clinical Director at BTEC, which was established in Pensacola, FL in 2012. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), holds a Master’s degree in Comprehensive Exceptional Student Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Lauri’s extensive experience has included working with clients and families in clinical, classroom, and community settings, as well as research in the field of language acquisition and development. Lauri’s responsibilities include direct provision of one-on-one ABA therapy and supervising all clinical operations at BTEC, ensuring the integration of the most advanced research-based methods of treatment into each child’s program.

Emily Bare, MA, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Emily joined our team in 2015 from Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College, a Master’s from Fairfield University, and completed her post-graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis in Penn State University. Emily brings diverse experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities from 16 months to 80 years old, and has extensive experience transitioning individuals from clinical to community settings. Prior to joining the BTEC team, she provided treatment in home, clinical, school, and community settings both in Connecticut and New York.

Evan Vienneau, MA, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Evan Vienneau is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, working primarily with children and young adults on the autism spectrum. His educational experience includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University, and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. Joining the BTEC team in early 2016, Evan looked to helping others in need through a collaborative and supportive method of behavior analysis with utmost concern and care. Prior to clinical based therapy, Evan worked several years in one-on-one therapy with individuals ranging from 2-17 years of age in home, school, and community settings of south Florida. Evan believes that, in addition to the teaching environment, creating a supportive system with friends and family around those in need of help is the best method for bringing change. Since joining the team, Evan has been developing a strong foundation with many families and coworkers. Additionally, any discussion of college football is always welcomed. Go Noles!

Michelle Calderon, MS, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Michelle attended Florida State University and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Michelle received her BACB certification in 2003, and has been working with individuals of all age ranges with developmental disabilities for the last 20 years. Prior to joining BTEC, she served as a Senior Behavior Analyst overseeing the training of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and the implementation of behavior support programs. Over the years, Michelle has worked in a variety of settings, including home, school and community. Michelle has been a dedicated member of the team of dedicated BCBAs at BTEC since her arrival in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, spending time with her pets and attending live music events.

Brandon Orso, MS, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Brandon joined BTEC in 2017 after getting both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Applied Psychology from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and a Post-Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Kaplan University. Prior to joining the BTEC team, he worked extensively with developing functional language and reducing maladaptive behaviors in early intervention. During this time, Brandon served as a clinical director and regional representative of the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board, supervised BCBA candidates, provided one-on-one direct therapy, and supervised one-on-one therapy. Brandon is passionate about the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the positive impact it can have on families, and being a member of BTEC’s team. While not working, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying Pensacola’s beautiful beaches and watching / talking about anything sports related.

Dena Casey, MS, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Dena came into BTEC from southern Illinois, where she previously served as the director of a behavioral therapy clinic. Her devotion to behavior analysis was inspired by her own personal journey raising a child with a disability and a desire to help others who face a similar struggle. Her experience has included work with children and teens with developmental delays, genetic disorders, and individuals struggling with social anxiety. She has also collaborated on research projects that have been published in multiple professional journals.

As the mother of a child with autism, I am grateful to those who have helped my family and I feel it is important to help others overcome difficulties that interfere with functioning, learning, and / or social development.”

Roseann Singh, MS, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Roseann (Rose) is a BCBA who holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Western Connecticut State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. Her experience includes working primarily with children ages 2 to pre-adolescence in school and clinical-based settings. Prior to entering the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, Rose proudly served in the United States Air Force learning the true nature of teamwork. Rose is devoted to working with all members of a child’s team to empower each child to develop the skills needed to succeed.

Rebecca Groff, MA, BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Rebecca (Becca) is a BCBA who holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with a Clinical Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She served as a guest associate editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and authored and co-authored a book chapter and several articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Her experience includes working at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she provided cervices to children who engaged in aggression and self-injurious behavior, and developing treatments for children diagnosed with pediatric feeding disorders. She has provided early intervention services to children in clinic, home, and school settings.

Heather Williams, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Heather’s background spans over twenty years working with individuals with disabilities. Her diverse experience has included work in community, educational, and clinical rehab settings with populations ranging from preschool to adulthood. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy, a Master’s in Secondary Education, and post-graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her enthusiasm for watching her clients learn and grow is evident to everyone she works with. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with family, relaxing at the beach, traveling, and any outdoor activities.

Emily Boatner, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Emily is a BCBA working primarily with individuals on the autism spectrum. Her educational background includes holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Emily received her certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in 2010 and has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities for the past 15 years ranging from 1 through 23 years old. Prior to joining the BTEC team, Emily served as a Center Director where she oversaw implementation of behavior treatment programs in the clinical and school settings. She has provided one-on-one direct therapy in a variety of settings included the home, clinic, school, and community. Emily is a valued member of the team of passionate Behavior Analysts at BTEC, and is focused on maintaining ethical standards and closely collaborating with families, teachers, colleagues, and other providers in a team effort to facilitate a child’s lifelong success.

Jessica Donvito, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Jessica joined the BTEC team in 2021 from North Carolina. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice in Forensic Psychology, both from Tiffin University. She also earned a Master’s of Education from the University of Cincinnati. Professional experience includes writing and implementing treatment plans with Child Protective Services, working in child development, teaching language acquisition to English as a Second Language children, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Prior to joining the BTEC team, Jessica worked one-on-one with clients, supervised and trained Registered Behavior Technicians, and engaged with caregivers in training and support. Her experience includes a variety of settings including home, clinic and community. Jessica is passionate about the science of ABA due to the client focused, individualized approach that ensures each client receives the support and learning environment best suited for their own needs. Outside of work, you can find Jessica spending time with her family and four dogs. She enjoys being outdoors, training self-defense, and spending time meandering through Target with a Starbucks coffee in hand.

Katelyn Datsko, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Katie is a BCBA who joined our team from Georgia. She received a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University. Katie has experience working with individuals aged from 2 to 19 in home settings as well as clinical settings. She has experience with children with visual impairments and hearing impairments. Prior to joining the BTEC team, Katie supervised BCBA candidates, RBT candidates and direct one-on-one services.

Chris Turner

Director of Operations

Chris is a co-founder who serves as the Director of Operations at BTEC. His responsibilities include all financial reporting, budgeting, and business operations of the company. With a background in business and psychology, his leadership is an integral part of BTEC’s commitment to delivering the highest quality of family-focused service in the field. Following college at Western Kentucky University, Chris spent eight years playing Major League Baseball for several teams, including the World Series Champion New York Yankees in 2000. His dedication to excellence is a driving force behind BTEC’s superior service and business model.
